First, you need to find a space in the exhaust with enough room around it for the Y-pipe and electric motor. Cut a length out of the existing exhaust and slip the Y-pipe into place.This is a cool product that allows you to install big mufflers on your car to quiet it down on the street, but the flexibility of opening up the system at the track or at your local cruise spot when you want a little more performance or street presence. The Y-pipes and turndowns are made from quality, TIG-welded stainless steel, and the flapper valve seals tightly when closed to eliminate any hissing or otherwise gross sounds that could potentially leak past the valves. The wireless controller makes the install that much cleaner and easier, since there’s no need to wire a switch to the passenger compartment.
